Wow! CAWC is definitely a fun, friendly women’s club.
I only found out recently it was open to join with no formal criteria of having American ties (which previously was in place).
I attended a meeting to find out more and was invited to attend the afternoon tea party to see the club in action. I absolutely loved it and joined there and then.
My first event as a member was the Henley boat party which was fabulous. I am based in Gerrards Cross and opted to car share with total strangers who have now become friends. This is how welcoming the club members are.
I love the vibe of this community and the variety of activities on offer. The fact that large amounts are raised for charities is also an added bonus. The Christmas Bazaar is always the highlight in the club’s calendar and I am excited to take part in the fundraising.
I am looking forward to attending the events, participate in the activities and also offer my assistance where I can in event planning.
