Summer update
“I would like to thank you all again for making myself and Wendy feel so welcome at the May tea party we had a wonderful morning with you all and we were blown away by the amazing table decorations.
We are so pleased that we were able to tell you all about our schools project and how your money is going to make such a difference. Our schools project has been piloted over the last year and has been a great success for young carers across the county from age 5 to be identified and supported within the school environment. With the hard work of our 2 schools project support workers delivering assemblies to raise awareness, supporting Young Carers with attendance, homework, respite and so much more we are so pleased to be able to carry on this project for 2024/2025.
Without your donation, we would not be able to continue this work and for this we are extremely grateful. Your donation will also allow us to hold x2 schools awards celebrations in the North and South of the county. These celebrations will be a big party with food, DJ, Games and awards ceremony which all of our young carers who are supported by our schools project will be invited to. We would love to invite some of you to the each of these events so you can meet some of our amazing young carers and the team who supports them”
