It was lovely to see Beth at our January GM where she gave us a brief update and thanked the club for our ongoing support and for the amazing amount of money raised at our Bazaar. She has also sent the update below.

“Firstly, everyone at Carers Bucks would like to say another big thank you to all of you for the hard work that went into the CAWC Bazaar in November. We are all very excited about the year ahead.
We have very exciting staff news ….Yasmeen, our Young Carers and Young Adult Carer Service Manger, has had her beautiful baby boy, Noah Mlik, born December 21st weighing 6 pound 8oz. Both mum and baby are doing well and Yasmeen is enjoying maternity leave.
At young carers we have a very busy year planned with lots of activities, club nights and days out which is very exciting. This year, we are focusing on our schools project to make sure we are reaching all those young carers in school that are not yet registered with us and continuing our support for those who are. We will be working alongside their teachers and training them on how to support young carers within their school.”
