CAWC Charity Bazaar – Co-Chair Kate Harman

1 Oct, 2022 | Bazaar

Hello Everyone! My name is Kate Harman and I am from a very small-town in Indiana.

The Bazaar committee was actually my first introduction to CAWC. I sat in a meeting not knowing anyone and by the time I left I knew this amazing group of strong women was going to be a good fit for me! I never thought I’d ever chair the Bazaar, but after so many years of supporting and being involved it felt like the right time to step up.

Giving back to the community is the core of the CAWC. We do so much more but the Bazaar brings us together for a common cause. It builds friendships and builds the CAWC sense of community and we are also raising money for an incredible cause. Our next Bazaar is on Sunday, 13th November at The Crowne Plaza and the whole Club is working hard to make it a success. Hope you can make it!

I met my husband (the Englishman) when I was living in Chicago, and have now been in Beaconsfield for over 10 years. My husband, Andrew, and I, have two children, Caroline and Freddie and a little cockapoo, Ginger. I also have two step-sons and a little step-grandbaby boy, Harry!

Since joining the CAWC in 2009 I have held numerous board and non-board positions. I am also part of the Golf group. We are a small group of women who range from beginners to intermediates. I’m not very good, but I love the kit! It’s casual, relaxed and fun!’
