34th Annual Charity Christmas Bazaar

Our annual Charity Christmas Bazaar took place on November 14th at the Crowne Plaza, Gerrards Cross. We had a fabulous day and all profits are being donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Breathing Support Project which is based in Buckinghamshire.

We are incredibly excited announce that we raised £25,759.95 at our bazaar this year.

We would like to thank everyone involved!

Just to give you some idea of the logistics involved in the organization of this year’s Bazaar:

  • 360 baskets were made by 25 members
  • 68 general raffle prizes
  • Over 60 artisan vendors set up their stalls
  • 31 members baked items for the bake sale
  • 16 grand raffle prizes
  • 11 members made food for the Lone Star Cafe
  • 80+ members and their families volunteered to help on the day
  • Over 20 silent auction prizes (the most ever!)
  • 35 sponsors
  • Over 800 people through the door!

As you can see, this is a massive project and the contribution each and every one of you makes is invaluable and much appreciated.

In 2020 we raised more than £14,000 with a virtual Christmas Bazaar for our charity the Motor Neurone Disease Breathing Support Project being delivered by members of the Palliative Care Service based at Florence Nightingale Hospice, which is part of Buckinghamshire NHS Trust. The project has the full backing of the Chiltern Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

We rely completely on donations from local businesses, our membership and corporate sponsors.

We donate 100% of the profit from the Bazaar to our charity. We are extraordinarily grateful to our supporters who make our annual bazaar possible and we are looking forward to sharing a wonderful festive day with you!
